The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Environmental Technician | Τεχνικός Περιβάλλοντος”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Enviromental Officer of the Enviromental department in Skouries.
Main Responsibilities:
· Implementation support of the Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS) in line with ESIA and EIA requirements
· Support in the implementation of Sustainability Integrated Management Systems (SIMS) according to corporate standards
· Application of Environmental and Energy Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 14064:2018 and ISO 50001:2018 standards
· Daily environmental inspections, samplings and monitoring activities to ensure site compliance with environmental terms and management systems
· Operation and maintenance support of field and permanently installed environmental monitoring equipment
· Field measurements of surface water flow and physicochemical parameters, including groundwater sampling and borehole monitoring activities
· Collection and validation of environmental data, including accuracy checks, exceedance identification and reporting to the field coordinator
· Contribution to the preparation of quarterly and annual environmental compliance and monitoring reports
· Collaboration with site supervisors and officers for the implementation of environmental programs and initiatives
· Support in the monitoring and follow-up of environmental projects and related activities
· Participation in environmental awareness and training activities for employees and contractors
· Coordination with consultants and site visitors to facilitate environmental inspections and information requests
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field (e.g. Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences or equivalent)
• 0–2 years of experience in environmental inspections or a similar engineering/scientific role
• Communication skills in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Valid driving license (Category B)
• Good physical condition, suitable for fieldwork activities
• Strong organizational skills, with creative and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines in field conditions
