The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Junior Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer | Junior Μηχανικός Ηλεκτρολογίας, Οργάνων και Αυτοματισμών”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will report to the Process Maintenance Electrical Engineer, of the Processing Department in Skouries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of safety awareness and personal responsibility in all activities.
- Develop familiarity with the process plant flowsheet, operational philosophy, and equipment across all plant areas.
- Develop an understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation systems used within the Process Plant.
- Gain knowledge of applicable legal, regulatory, and company compliance requirements related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Work under supervision to gain practical exposure to plant systems, maintenance practices, and operational requirements.
- Support maintenance and operations teams under supervision as part of the learning process.
- Participate in plant inspections, maintenance activities, and shutdowns to develop practical understanding of equipment and systems.
- Support the identification and basic analysis of electrical and instrumentation issues under guidance.
- Gain exposure to plant control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and their role in process control and stability.
- Develop an understanding of the interaction between process performance, instrumentation accuracy, and control philosophy.
- Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance documentation, records, and drawings.
- Demonstrate continuous development of technical knowledge and practical competency.
- Comply with all site safety standards, procedures, and operational requirements.
- Gain hands-on experience in SAP ERP (PM & MM modules) to support work order management, data entry and material transactions under supervision.
- Develop an understanding of maintenance KPIs (e.g. MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability) and support their interpretation and use under guidance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering.
- 0–3 years’ experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
- Exposure to PLC / SCADA / DCS systems will be considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet).
- Exposure to mining, process plant, or heavy industry environments will be considered an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Valid driving license.
