Why This Role Exists
We are moving beyond traditional sales operations. We need a Sales AI Integrator to serve as the architect of our intelligent revenue engine.
This is not a support role; it is a high-impact engineering and strategy position designed to maximize Founder and Sales Team Leverage. You will be responsible for replacing manual, low-value tasks with autonomous AI agents and sophisticated automation, ensuring our sales team spends 100% of their time in high-value closing conversations while your systems handle the discovery, qualification, and data orchestration.
What You’ll Be Responsible For (Outcomes)
- Design and deploy AI-driven workflows that handle lead generation, qualification, and initial outreach. You will turn the "MQL to SQL" handoff into a seamless, automated transition.
- Transform HubSpot from a static database into an active sales assistant. You’ll implement AI-assisted lead scoring and automated follow-up logic that reacts to prospect intent in real-time.
- Bridge the gap between our VOIP (RingCentral), CRM, and AI models. Using N8N, Zapier, or Make, you will ensure a frictionless data flow where every call and email is transcribed, analyzed, and synced.
- Utilize AI models to analyze historical sales data, creating high-accuracy forecasting dashboards that provide leadership with actionable strategic visibility.
- Act as the internal consultant for our sales and marketing teams, translating complex AI capabilities into simple, high-impact workflows and documenting these "playbooks" for scale.
Requirements
What You’ve Done Before
- Proven experience building multi-step automations using LLM APIs (OpenAI/Claude), n8n, or Make.com specifically for revenue operations.
- Advanced proficiency in HubSpot (Workflows, Custom Objects) and integrating VOIP systems (RingCentral) via middleware.
- You are comfortable working with APIs, Webhooks, and JSON. Experience with Python or JavaScript for custom logic is a significant advantage.
- You have a background in Sales Ops or Growth Engineering and understand exactly where human friction kills deal velocity.
Who You Are
- A High-Agency Operator: You don’t wait for a project brief. You identify a manual bottleneck—like a slow lead response time—and build an AI solution to solve it before anyone asks.
- Systems Thinker: You understand how a single automation trigger in the top-of-funnel impacts data integrity and reporting at the bottom-of-funnel.
- Strategic Partner: You can sit with the Founder, understand the business objective, and translate it into a technical architecture of triggers, agents, and prompts.
- Prompt Engineering Expert: You know how to structure LLM inputs to get reliable, structured, and professional outputs that are ready for prospect-facing communication.
Who This Is NOT For
- The "Support Ticket" Specialist: If you are looking for a role where you simply reset passwords and manage CRM permissions, this isn't it.
- The Non-Technical Marketer: If the thought of a Webhook or an API call is intimidating, you will struggle in this environment.
- The Manual Worker: If you prefer "brute forcing" tasks over building a system that automates them, our culture will be a mismatch.
What Success Looks Like
- Month 1: Comprehensive audit of the sales pipeline; deployment of an AI-driven "Quick Win" (e.g., automated call summarization or instant lead routing).
- Month 3: A fully integrated "AI Sales Assistant" layer across HubSpot and RingCentral; measurable reduction in Lead Response Time (LRT).
- Month 6: The sales team is handling 2x the lead volume with 0x increase in headcount, driven by the autonomous qualification and warming systems you built.
Indicators of Performance:
- Lead Velocity: Time from MQL capture to Sales-ready SQL.
- Data Integrity: 100% accuracy in automated CRM logging and tagging.
- System Efficiency: Percentage of the sales journey handled by autonomous or AI-assisted workflows.
- Executive Leverage: Significant reduction in Founder/VP time spent on operational troubleshooting.
