Your Role & Responsibility
A Senior M365 System Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment within a company. The main tasks include:
Architecture and Design: Planning and designing the M365 infrastructure, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, to meet business requirements.
Implementation and Configuration: Deploying new M365 services, configuring security policies, data management, and compliance tools, as well as managing identities and access rights (Azure AD).
Expansion / Add-ons & Change: Responsible for managing M365 plugins, ensuring with the PO (Product Owner) that the application ecosystem remains under control, and actively monitoring and operating all Microsoft changes.
Migration and Integration: Executing migration projects (e.g., from on-premise systems to M365) and integrating M365 services with other enterprise systems.
Security and Compliance Management: Implementing and managing security policies, multi-factor authentication, data protection measures, and regulatory compliance.
Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring the M365 environment to ensure performance, stability, and security, as well as optimizing and troubleshooting.
Support and Training: Providing support for complex technical issues and training and consulting IT teams and end-users.
Automation and Scripting: Using PowerShell and automation tools to streamline management processes.
