As a Room Attendant, you are a valuable member of the housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will take pride in delivering well-prepared, comfortable rooms while paying close attention to detail.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a professional and courteous approach when interacting with guests and supporting their needs where required.
Duties
- Clean guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to the required standard as allocated.
- Replenish guest supplies and bathroom/room amenities in line with room type standards.
- Report any lost property in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Carry out scheduled and routine cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Handle guest laundry in compliance with hotel policy.
- Use, clean, and maintain equipment properly, reporting any faults as per procedure.
- Ensure all departmental equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Assist with regular stocktakes of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain security of keys and guest rooms at all times, following all security procedures. Report any suspicious activity or items to a supervisor.
- Follow correct usage, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with health and safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
