The Ala Moana Hotel’s Banquet staff is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests who are hosting and attending a banquet function.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Set-up, service and breakdown of functions from the laying of tablecloths through the final stripping off of dirty linen.
- Organizes and maintains cleanliness in banquet storage and service area. Report any discrepancies regarding service area and equipment to the Banquet Captain.
- Uses the Catering order as a guide, sets up according to established departmental procedures.
- Attends pre-function meeting with supervisors and clarifies any questions with regard to service of food and beverage.
