As a Demi Chef De Partie – Italian Restaurant at Raffles Doha, you will support the culinary team in delivering authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine while maintaining the exceptional standards of the Raffles brand. You will assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes, contribute to smooth kitchen operations, and ensure consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in every guest experience.
You will work closely with senior chefs to uphold food quality, hygiene standards, and operational excellence within a luxury dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Support the Chef De Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and service requirements.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and portion control standards are maintained at all times.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and mise en place for service efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards and procedures.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and minimizing food wastage.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food products.
- Support the team during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and culinary techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest dining experiences.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills and operational knowledge.
