As an Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band 1), you will further the success of our programs to help Northrop Grumman leave the boundaries of what's known and solve tomorrow's problems. This position will be working in Linthicum, MD.
The Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band 1) responsibilities will encompass:
- o Approaching competitive and non-competitive sourcing in request for quotations
- o Optimizing volume pricing through bid package strategies
- o Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders
- o Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources
- o Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution
Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.

Basic Qualifications for Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, or information systems
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
- SAP experience
Primary Level Salary Range: $54,700.00 - $82,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
