In this role,you’llown theday‑to‑dayoperation, support, and evolution ofVerafin’scustomer‑facingAPIs, including those powering fraud, sanctions, payments, and data ingestion.You’lltakeend‑to‑endownership ofproduction‑criticalsystems, acting as a technical escalation point while partnering closely with vendors, customers, and internalsoftware developmentteams to ensure integrations are implemented correctly, remain stable at scale, and continue to evolve as adoption grows.

What You'll Do
Support and implement vendor and customer API integrations, ensuringthey'reset up correctly and running smoothly in production.
Investigate and resolveproductionAPI issues, debugging complex problems and working with stakeholders to keep things moving.
Build monitoring, alerts, and dashboards that help us spot issues early and keep our APIs reliable.
Deliver bug fixes, enhancements, and operational improvements that make our APIs easier to use and more stable over time.
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless API adoption and support.
What You'll Bring
A university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education andpreviousexperience would be considered.
2-5years of experience in a similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with object-oriented programming (Java or C# preferred).
Comfortable building and supporting REST APIs in cloud environments like AWS.
Great communicator who works well in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with test-driven development and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries with exposure to customer-facing integrations and incident response.
