Responsibilities:
Partner closely with the Technical Lead and endpoint device analysts to ensure safe, reliable data flow from devices to clinical documentation
Configure and support device middleware and gateways (including FetaLink and connectivity engines), mapping device data to flowsheets, and coordinating clinical validation with nursing, clinical engineering, and informatics teams
Oversee integration testing, downtime and failover scenarios, and troubleshooting of device connectivity issues to support go‑live readiness and patient safety
Collaborates with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure proper segmentation, firmware governance, and compliance with enterprise standards for connected devices
Support stabilization, optimizing device workflows, mentoring device analysts, and documenting configurations to enable long‑term operational sustainability across care settings.
Solution-specific expertise in BMDI/MDI & FetaLink Device Integration including:
Workflow assessments
System Design & configuration
Testing and validation
Experience in EHR implementation
Proficiency in Cerner system configuration and ongoing support
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work directly with clinical and operational end users
Preferences
Undergraduate degree (BA, BS, or equivalent)
Prior experience supporting large-scale Cerner implementations or optimizations
