What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Tennis Court Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep, preparation, cleanliness, and playability of all tennis and pickleball courts and surrounding areas. This role supports the overall guest, member, and academy experience by ensuring the courts are maintained to professional standards in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
This position works closely with Racquet Sports leadership, tournament staff, coaches, and resort operations to ensure court conditions consistently meet operational and programming needs.

Essential Responsibilities
Court Maintenance & Preparation
- Maintain daily playing conditions for all tennis and pickleball courts.
- Drag, line, roll, sweep, and water courts as required.
- Repair low spots, worn areas, and court surface issues when needed.
- Inspect nets, straps, lines, windscreens, fencing, benches, and court equipment daily.
- Prepare courts for tournaments, events, camps, member programming, and resort guest play.
- Assist with court set-ups and breakdowns for special events and programming.
Facility Upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and organization around court areas, walkways, and maintenance spaces.
- Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership.
- Assist with landscaping and surrounding court appearance when necessary.
- Ensure maintenance equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and operating safely.
Operations Support
- Support daily court scheduling needs based on programming demands.
- Communicate court conditions and maintenance updates with Racquet Sports leadership.
- Assist during high-volume periods, tournaments, and special events as needed.
- Help maintain proper inventory levels for court supplies and maintenance materials.
Safety & Standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards.
- Operate maintenance equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests, members, students, and staff.
- Support Pyramid Global Hospitality standards focused on teamwork, professionalism, and guest service.
Qualifications
- Previous tennis court maintenance or outdoor maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and tournament periods.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
