About the role
The IT Business Partner – Sales is the key interface between Sales and IT at Oetiker.
The role ensures that sales processes, systems and integrations reliably support business growth, operational efficiency and governance across a global industrial environment.
This position combines strong SAP SD knowledge, integration awareness (EDI) and IT leadership with a deep understanding of sales and commercial processes.
Key responsibilities
- Act as IT Business Partner for Sales-related functions, serving as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the senior/medium business level.
- Translate business requirements into clear IT solutions and delivery roadmaps.
- Own and continuously improve Sales IT services, with focus on SAP SD.
- Align global IT standards with local and regional business needs.
- Manage demand intake, prioritization and execution for Sales initiatives.
- Coordinate internal IT teams and external vendors.
- Ensure system stability, scalability and compliance with IT governance.
- Drive continuous improvement of Order-to-Cash processes.
- Support Sales digitalization and automation initiatives.
- Act as escalation point for critical Sales-related incidents.
Functional scope
- SAP SD (O2C, Master Data, Pricing, Billing, Scheduling agreements, integration with other SAP modules and with other Oetiker technologies)
- Integrations EDI - Seeburguer (orders, invoices, delivery messages)
