ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.
- Operate machinery used in the clean-up process such as sweepers, vacuum trucks, or a skid steer to ensure the clean-up process is completed efficiently.
- Examine department machinery to verify conformance to cleanliness standards.
- Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
- Operating portable vacuums to ensure shakers, conveyors, and other areas are thoroughly cleaned.
- Inspect and clean sand mixers throughout the facility.
- Help production workers perform duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools or cleaning work areas and equipment.
- Clean assigned equipment.
- Record information, such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product production.
- Working in confined space area for clean up and hole watch.
- Perform any and all cleaning duties as assigned by the maintenance management team.
