Primary Purpose: Organizing and delegating work assignments to ensure the plant’s facilities are operational and functioning properly. Supervises maintenance workers and has strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Leads, plans and oversees facilities projects. Works with stakeholders and other team members to collaborate and complete projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with safety and environmental guidelines, and that employees are working safely and have sufficient training, tools, and resources for their assigned work.
- Organizes and delegates work assignments.
- Effectively communicating throughout the organization.
- Providing employees with training and needed resources to perform their work.
- Creating and maintaining a culture contributes to achieving our key results.
- Handles personnel issues, employee counseling and employee performance.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee design, installation of renovations.
- Research and analyze vendor design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Works closely with outside contractors.
- Communicates with management on cost, design, and schedule of projects.
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Work Environment: Heavy industrial setting will be involved in working around molten metal.
Physical Demands: Standing for long periods of time, walking to different parts of the plant as needed, may involve some lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Position type and expected hours of work: Full time hours schedule is day shift, and hours are minimum of 40.
