As the Accounting Services Manager, you will provide high-impact leadership and grow relationships with CPA firms across the United States. This role sits at the intersection of client delivery, relationship management, and revenue growth, and is critical to scaling our audit and advisory capabilities. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on growth and strategy in a collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing strategic CPA firm partnerships, expanding existing accounts, and driving new revenue opportunities through our accounting service offerings.

Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of CPA firm partners
- Build deep, trusted relationships with firm leadership and key stakeholders
- Act as a strategic advisor on audit, compliance, and related service opportunities
- Ensure exceptional client experience and retention
- Department and Office Coordination
Revenue Growth & Account Expansion:
- Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing CPA firm relationships
- Develop and execute account growth strategies
- Own revenue targets and performance metrics for assigned accounts
- Partner with internal teams to bring new service offerings to market
Accounting Services Oversight:
- Oversee the delivery of accounting services, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams (U.S. and India) to ensure seamless execution
- Translate client needs into clear business requirements and deliverables
Business Development:
- Support new CPA firm onboarding and relationship expansion to increase wallet share
- Participate in presentations, proposals, and client meetings
- Responsible for high client satisfaction and retention
- Represent alliant at industry events and conferences
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Work closely with: Delivery teams (U.S. and India), Product and Technology teams, Sales and marketing
- Drive alignment between client expectations and internal execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field required
- Required 7+ years of recent experience in Public Accounting, or Audit Advisory / Consulting, preferably within a large, global organization
- CPA license is strongly preferred
- Experience working with or within CPA firms
- Proven experience managing client relationships and growing accounts
- Exposure to outsourced and managed services models
- Superior operational discipline with ability to drive execution
- Experience collaborating with offshore teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with data analytics, automation, or AI in accounting services
- Strong understanding of audit processes, compliance, and financial reporting
- Strategic thinker with a growth / commercial mindset with strong revenue orientation, along with demonstrated ability to drive revenue and meet growth targets
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to simplify and synthesize complex concepts and information into clear, concise communications and reports
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
- Preferred candidate should reside or relocate to Houston
