Get to Know the Role:
You will support lending strategy end to end, from product and feature ideation and partnerships to regional rollout and user growth. You will work across multiple projects and countries in SME Lending. If you are passionate about building financial services and seeing your strategies create tangible impact, this role is for you.
You will report to the Manager, Regional SME Lending and be based in our Petaling Jaya office onsite.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform:
Regional Digital Lending Strategy
- Develop the strategic roadmap for AI-driven digital SME lending solutions across the region and multiple ecosystem-based credit products
- Advise management on key issues (e.g., strategic initiatives, business plans, major investments) through clear framing, systems-level thinking, and rigorous analysis of the SME financing landscape.
- Lead assessments and feasibility studies for new SME lending product introduction, geographic business growth, commercial ventures and strategic partnerships relevant to SME credit and financing.
Business Intelligence and Monitoring
- Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards to monitor ongoing performance of Lending's portfolio of businesses
- Lead the daily monitoring of key lending metrics, highlight areas of strength and improvement and independently drive changes working with the country teams
AI, Data & Decisioning Enablement
- Champion the use of AI, machine learning, and analytics to enhance credit assessment, fraud detection, pricing and risk segmentation, customer targeting, and portfolio optimization by collaborating with data science and risk teams
- Optimize customer journeys by orchestrating digital processes and technology integration across the lending journey, ensuring seamless and efficient experiences for customers and internal users.
Market and Project oversight
- Collaborate with local country teams to execute go-to-market strategies and establish partnerships across various markets.
- Execute key strategic projects, from identifying issues, analysing data and trends, working cross-vertical, with the purpose of generating insights and relevant business recommendations.
