Get to Know the Role
As an Assistant Manager in Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at Grab Singapore, you'll lead the creation and nurturing of partnerships to drive growth and profitability. Your responsibilities include managing the full partner development cycle, from identifying opportunities to executing deals, across various business lines like Transport, GrabFood, Omnicommerce, GrabExpress, GrabMart, and GrabFinancial. You'll regularly engage with senior executives and corporate partners, influencing high-level decisions, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
This role reports to Manager, BD & Strategic Partnerships, onsite at our Grab Office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- End-to-End Partner Management: Own the full lifecycle of commercial partnerships, from qualifying prospects through negotiation, deal structuring, contracting, activation and measuring the impact of partnerships.
- Identify New Partnership Opportunities: Identify and define new partnership opportunities with new and existing partners. Lead in business impact sizing, shaping the go-to-market strategy, and working with cross-functional teams on execution and experimentation.
- Business Case Development: Build persuasive partnership proposals and business cases, which may involve complex deal structuring, activation ideas, and calculating projected business ROI.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the business verticals, marketing, product, and operations teams to align on commercial and operational expectations and deliver on agreed-upon outcomes.
- Performance Tracking and Campaign Optimisation: Define and align on success metrics, set up tracking for partner initiatives, co-develop iterative strategies, present learnings to internal stakeholders and partners, and document playbooks for scaling successful tactics.
- Nurture Senior-Level Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within Grab and partner organizations, ensuring long-term, successful collaborations.
