Safely and efficiently unload incoming trucks, trailers, and containers using various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks).
Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and manifests.
Identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all Bosch safety regulations and certifications.
Inspection & Quality Control:
Perform initial visual inspections of received goods for damage, defects, and proper labeling.
Segregate and quarantine non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
Collaborate with Quality Control and Procurement teams to resolve any quality issues.
Material Handling & Put-Away:
Accurately count, weigh, and label received materials.
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to record receipt data, generate labels, and track inventory.
Transport received materials to designated storage locations or staging areas, optimizing space utilization.
Ensure proper storage practices are followed to prevent damage and ensure accessibility.
Documentation & Data Entry:
Complete all necessary receiving paperwork and digital entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain organized records of received goods, including delivery notes, packing lists, and inspection reports.
Generate reports as required for inventory management and supply chain analysis.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all Bosch safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the receiving dock and surrounding areas.
Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
