Responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of all engineering equipment and building facilities within the hotel property.
Supervise daily maintenance activities related to electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and general building infrastructure.
Ensure all hotel equipment such as air-conditioning units, boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, kitchen equipment, and elevators are functioning efficiently.
Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and ensure continuous service for guests and hotel operations.
Monitor and maintain utility systems including electricity, water supply, gas lines, and sewage systems.
Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms, guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to identify maintenance requirements.
Maintain proper records of maintenance work, equipment history, and engineering logs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire safety regulations, and local statutory requirements applicable to the hospitality industry.
Support the implementation of energy conservation programs and monitor energy consumption across the property.
Assist the Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager in planning maintenance schedules and engineering projects.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, servicing, and installation work.
Supervise and guide technicians and maintenance staff to ensure quality work and timely completion of tasks.
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently to maintain guest satisfaction.
Ensure proper operation of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and backup power systems such as generators.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in engineering work areas, plant rooms, and workshops.
