We are seeking a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in Washington, United States. This full-time position involves working morning, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

What you will be doing:
- Control access to the facility by checking identification and issuing visitor badges
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts
- Conduct regular security checks of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of all security-related activities
- Assist in emergency situations, including coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Help the team and the guest by undertaking other duties and responsibilities that may be requested by your or a manager.
- Maintain a positive service attitude at all times and be willing to help and advise clients with all questions and requests they may have.
- Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment.
- Obtains assistance for accident victims and writes accident reports.
- Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
- Receives and delivers Lost and Found and packages
- Helps maintain safety of hotel guests and employees by conducting bag checks on all people entering and exiting the hotel through the employee entrance.
- Responds to reports of suspicious behavior or security threats.
- Aids as requested in the special security needs of high profile guests.
- Complies with legal regulations pertaining to Security and law enforcement, and respects confidentiality requirements of the department.
- Other duties as required during their shifts to maintain the safety and security of our guests and colleagues.
Rate of Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
