The Pastry Cook plays a key role in bringing desserts and baked goods to life, supporting the team with consistency, care, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pastry Preparation & Execution
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confections following established recipes and standards.
- Assist in assembling plated desserts and finishing touches with a focus on consistency and presentation.
- Support mise en place and daily production to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Follow direction from Chef de Partie and Pastry leadership to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in accordance with HACCP and sanitation standards.
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Use kitchen and pastry equipment safely and responsibly.
- Assist with inventory and stock management as required.
Team & Culture
- Work collaboratively with the pastry and culinary team to support service across all outlets.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow.
