Key Responsibilities
Pastry Craft & Execution
- Prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and confections to exacting standards.
- Execute recipes with precision while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal desserts, plated presentations, and specialty items in collaboration with the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.
- Ensure all pastry items reflect Rimrock’s luxury standards and culinary vision.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the pastry station, adhering to HACCP and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and support proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Control food costs through proper portioning, minimizing waste, and maximizing product utilization.
- Operate pastry equipment safely and efficiently.
Team & Culture
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering growth, skill development, and confidence.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless execution across all outlets.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-performance kitchen culture.
