What you will be doing:
- Lead and oversee all Banquets operations, ensuring seamless execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Conference Services, Culinary, and other departments to ensure alignment and exceptional event delivery
- Drive a culture of luxury service excellence, ensuring every event reflects the highest standards and attention to detail
- Develop, mentor, and inspire the Banquets leadership and colleague team, fostering engagement, accountability, and growth
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to align with business levels and operational needs
- Manage departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue through upselling, service innovation, and operational efficiencies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring personalized service and proactive communication throughout the event lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Handle guest concerns and feedback with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution and service recovery
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
