We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Sales / Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and converting opportunities into revenue through a balanced approach of proactive business development and and reactive sales management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive proactive sales efforts by identifying, targeting, and securing new corporate, conference, and events (MICE) business.
- Manage reactive sales enquiries, ensuring prompt response and high conversion of inbound leads.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, market research, and client engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies (including PCOs).
- Identify new revenue opportunities and maximise existing account potential.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine sales strategies.

- Client Engagement & Revenue Generation
- Prepare and present tailored proposals including event spaces, accommodation, and services to maximise revenue.
- Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and familiarisation visits.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed business to operations teams for successful event delivery.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all enquiries, proposals, and tenders within agreed timelines.
- Analyse lost business and implement strategies to convert future opportunities.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the Sales Leadership team to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and achieving revenue targets.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
People & Brand Representation
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the organisation鈥檚 values, services, and offerings.
- Deliver professional, engaging, and personalised service to all clients.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
