What you will be doing:
- Prepare, cook, plate, and present food items with exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and refinement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Ensure proper product rotation in all chillers to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Safely handle, store, prepare, and serve all food items in compliance with hotel policies and Food Safety guidelines
- Adhere to EHC standards and processes, including accurate completion of temperature logs, proper labeling and dating of food items, and maintaining clean storage areas
- Consistently apply Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star service standards in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Collaborate closely with the Fairmont Gold Front-of-House team to anticipate guest preferences and adjust menu items or presentations to enhance the exclusive lounge experience
- Uphold the ambiance and service philosophy of Fairmont Gold through refined presentation, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
