Reporting to the General Manager, you responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance function across the hotel
- Oversee all building systems including HVAC, electrical, fire life safety, hydraulic, and lift systems
- Plan and deliver preventative and reactive maintenance programs to ensure optimal asset performance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, and brand standards
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring performance, compliance, and cost control
- Maintain accurate contractor records, including SWMS, permits, and insurances
- Lead emergency response and business continuity procedures relating to engineering systems
- Prepare and manage CAPEX budgets and projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
- Monitor energy usage and implement sustainability and efficiency initiatives
- Conduct regular audits and reporting to ensure operational and compliance standards are met
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and asset lifecycle management
