- Prepare and organize your workstation before each shift, ensuring all tools, ingredients, and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for service
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions precisely, paying close attention to portion sizes, plating standards, and presentation requirements
- Maintain exceptional food safety and hygiene standards at all times, adhering to all kitchen protocols and local health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, fryers, and other culinary tools
- Support the kitchen team during service, responding quickly to requests and adapting to changing priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Clean and sanitize your workstation, equipment, and kitchen areas throughout and after each shift
