Reporting to the Group Housing Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Key room reservations contact for group programs, from initial turnover process until event date
- Ensure proper notes, billing and special requests are completed
- Attend weekly pick up meeting and assist in group forecasting
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Prepare and send rooming lists, pick up reports and other information to the group contacts
- Maintain good working relationships with Global Reservations Centre, Travel Agents and external /internal Guests
- Respond to all reservation requests and incoming calls in a courteous, efficient, professional and friendly manner in adherence to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards
- Provide administrative support to Group Housing Manager and action items as required in an efficient and professional manner
- All other duties as assigned
