About the Role
As a Storeperson you will be responsible for the ensuring all goods purchased are received at the loading dock in accordance to the purchasing document and that these are distributed to appropriate departments. You will also assist in entry of the invoices and requisitions into the Food and Beverage and Accounting systems.
This role is responsible for:
- Ensuring all goods are received in accordance with the quality and quantity stated in purchase orders
- Confirming goods are accounted for and promptly delivered to operating departments
- Employ correct stock rotation principles at all times based on 'first in first out' rule
- Accurately post all invoices into Purchase Plus on a daily basis
- Communicating with departments to ensure company standards and operating requirements are met
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the loading dock and store areas
