About the Role
This is a reactive sales role, focused on handling inbound enquiries for meetings, events, and group accommodation, preparing proposals, and coordinating booking details prior to execution.
You will play a key role in driving revenue by ensuring timely responses, strong conversion of enquiries, and accurate coordination of event and group requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming enquiries for meetings, conferences, events, and group bookings.
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through timely follow-up.
- Prepare contracts, event orders, and detailed booking documentation.
- Prepare and issue Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) ensuring all event details are accurate and communicated to operational teams.
- Coordinate group accommodation blocks alongside event requirements.
- Conduct site inspections with prospective clients.
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate planning and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in booking and CRM systems.
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling.
