What you will be doing:
- Prepare, cook, and plate banquet menu items according to established recipes, event orders, and culinary standards
- Execute service for large-scale events, ensuring food quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and daily production schedules with the culinary leadership team
- Assist with mise en place and production for upcoming events, including prep for future service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including proper labeling, dating, and temperature logging
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products to minimize waste
- Support set-up, service, and breakdown of banquet events as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow cooks, stewards, and banquet teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Uphold Five Diamond, Forbes Five-Star, and brand service standards in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
