As a Food & Beverage Attendant in our lobby lounge, Pilina, you will be a hospitality ambassador that will connect our guests to the delectable cuisine and libations inspired by our diverse culture and island home. You will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and bartenders to ensure that we provide an impeccable dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and passion for the guest experience will contribute to maintaining high standards of service.
Hourly rate: $23.04
What you will be doing:
Responsible for providing Food & Beverage service within Fairmont & Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards. Areas of responsibility will include and are not limited to the following:
- Adhere to daily checklist and duties assigned
- Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience to include but not limited to running food, table maintenance and beverage service
- Clear and reset tables in a timely manner while adhering to sanitation guidelines and Fairmont Kea Lani procedures
- Ensure the proper set up and break down of all side stations in the venue
- Deliver food or drinks to the guest at the table according to LQA standards
- Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods for all food and beverage venues on property
- Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions
- Adhere to the State of Hawaii & State of Hawaii & EHC (Environmental Health Consultancy) food handling safety standards
- Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
- Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
- Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Schedule: Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
