Answer phones promptly and courteously within three rings; provide accurate information about menus, pricing, and daily specials
Take reservations accurately, collecting all necessary details (date, time, party size, name, special occasions, dietary requirements) and enter directly into the reservation system
Notify supervisors of large parties (6+) and any special requests or occasions
Distribute reservations equitably among servers with all relevant information, including birthdays, anniversaries, and special requests
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, pricing, and daily specials
Greet guests warmly at the entrance, introduce yourself, and escort them to their tables with professionalism
Seat guests courteously, present menus, introduce their server, and ensure their comfort
Engage with departing guests to gather feedback on their experience and bid them farewell
Address guest inquiries accurately and escalate complaints to management immediately
Maintain hostess station presence at all times and assist team members during busy service periods
Relay staff absence or tardiness notifications to supervisors
Record all messages and communications on appropriate documentation; maintain confidentiality of personal information
