- Assist senior chefs in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning
- Prepare basic dishes and components according to established recipes and culinary standards
- Maintain and organize your workstation, ensuring efficient workflow and cleanliness throughout your shift
- Support the mise en place process by gathering and arranging all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene
- Contribute to the plating and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to meet service demands and support overall kitchen operations
- Monitor food quality and report any concerns to senior staff
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed
