As Stewarding Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role at the heart of our kitchen operations. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will lead, coach and support our Stewarding team to ensure our kitchens operate seamlessly, safely and to the highest standards. This is a hands on role for someone who takes pride in setting the standard and developing people.
Key responsibilities
• Lead the day to day stewarding operation, ensuring exceptional hygiene, cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and food preparation areas
• Ensure all outlets are consistently supplied with clean, sanitised and well maintained operational equipment
• Champion food safety, chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards at all times
• Drive cost awareness through efficient use of energy, water, cleaning materials and equipment
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment are stored safely and hygienically
• Support the induction, training and ongoing development of Stewarding team members
• Provide clear direction, coaching and on shift guidance to support performance and confidence
• Motivate the team, monitor productivity and foster a positive, respectful and professional working environment
