This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and understands the importance of keeping guest rooms and public areas looking well-maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing daily checks and minor repairs across guest rooms and public areas
(e.g. leaking taps, door hardware, light fittings, silicone touch-ups, basic plumbing fixes) - Patch and paint work, including repairing wall damage, scuffs, and general cosmetic wear
- Maintaining guest facilities and hotel equipment
- Supporting scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
- Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining air-conditioning filters
- Clearing walkways and ensuring external areas are safe and presentable
- Liaising with management to ensure out-of-order rooms or areas are returned to service as quickly as possible
- Identifying maintenance issues early and reporting larger repairs where required
