What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cook II, you will support daily culinary operations with professionalism, efficiency, and creativity, ensuring all dishes meet Fairmont’s high standards:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to Fairmont luxury brand standards with consistency and precision
- Maintain exceptional standards of kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering processes
- Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Learn and execute menu items, daily features, and promotional offerings
- Deliver proactive, friendly service while collaborating effectively with the culinary team
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall kitchen operations
- Participate in mandatory training, orientation, and ongoing development sessions to support operational excellence and compliance with union requirements
