Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver professional, engaging, and proactive guest service by anticipating needs and providing helpful information about hotel facilities to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house using the work order system.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, and masonry.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, and public areas to maintain hotel standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility and surrounding areas and perform interior and exterior maintenance and service as required
- Maintain and repair building systems and equipment in accordance with manuals, standards, and safety codes.
- Ensure all work orders and maintenance activities are completed and documented accurately.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
- Monitor equipment performance and report faults, damages, or safety concerns.
- Support inventory control by using materials efficiently and assisting with stock replenishment.
- Work independently or as part of a team on maintenance tasks and projects.
- Being an ambassador for the Brand, Hotel, Community and Colleagues, participating in Hotel Committees and events.
- Act as part of the Emergency Response Team when required.
- Strict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC).
