Your Role in the Story
As a Bartender at LUURA, you are a key creator of the guest experience at the bar. You bring energy, precision, and personality to every service, crafting cocktails and drinks with care while engaging guests in a warm, confident, and professional way.
This role is hands-on and guest-facing. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality beverage service while maintaining LUURA and Rikas standards for presentation, service flow, and bar culture. You鈥檒l work closely with the Bar Manager and wider F&B team to ensure every moment at the bar feels effortless, social, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in line with LUURA and Rikas standards
- Demonstrate full knowledge of bar menus, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and beverage pairings
- Set up and break down the bar before and after service, ensuring proper stocking of liquor, glassware, garnishes, ice, and juices
- Deliver attentive, detail-driven service to every guest, ensuring consistency and quality throughout service
- Greet and engage guests warmly, recognizing regular guests and accommodating preferences where possible
- Process drink orders efficiently and accurately, managing billing and cash handling according to procedures
- Follow all beverage SOPs, health & safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address minor issues proactively, and escalate concerns to management when needed
- Support stock control by receiving, checking, and organizing beverage deliveries and requisitions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times, including counters, equipment, and storage
- Assist with general bar upkeep, including glassware handling, waste management, and end-of-shift cleaning
- Work collaboratively with service teams to ensure smooth communication and service flow
- Be aware of daily events, reservations, and VIP guests to ensure seamless service delivery as per the Bar Manager and F&B Manager directions.
