Your Role in the Story
As a Night Cleaner at LUURA, you play a vital role in preparing the property for the next day鈥檚 guest experience. Working during night shifts, you ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, and presented to LUURA鈥檚 high standards before morning operations begin. Your work directly supports seamless daytime operations and contributes to a calm, immaculate, and welcoming environment for guests and teams alike.
This role requires attention to detail, autonomy, responsibility, and a strong sense of ownership, as most duties are performed independently with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough overnight cleaning of assigned areas, including public spaces, guest corridors, back-of-house areas, offices, and operational zones.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks according to the night cleaning schedule (floors, carpets, upholstery, glass, fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas).
- Ensure all public areas are spotless, sanitized, and ready for guest use before morning operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with LUURA policies and health & safety regulations.
- Prepare areas for the next day鈥檚 operations, ensuring proper setup and presentation where required.
- Handle cleaning equipment, chemicals, and materials safely and correctly, following SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Ensure cleaning trolleys, storage rooms, and pantries are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the Night Supervisor or relevant department.
- Respect guest privacy and maintain a quiet, discreet presence throughout the night.
- Cooperate with Night Audit, Security, and other overnight teams to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Follow lost & found procedures, ensuring all items are reported and logged correctly.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the shift and report completion before end of duty.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Adhere to LUURA standards, SOPs, and company policies at all times.
