Scope Of Position
As a Changing Room Attendant, you play a vital role in supporting the Spa Butler team in delivering a seamless, discreet, and exceptional guest experience. You are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within all changing areas, ensuring they consistently reflect a Forbes Five-Star and LQA luxury environment.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, anticipation of guest needs, and a proactive, intuitive approach to service, ensuring every guest feels recognised, cared for, and completely at ease.
Responsibilities
Operation
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation of all changing facilities, including lockers, showers, toilets, steam rooms, and relaxation lounges (B1 & B4)
- Conduct regular and thorough checks to ensure all areas are fully stocked, immaculately presented, and fully operational
- Replenish towels, robes, slippers, and amenities promptly and proactively
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and wet areas are consistently clean, dry, and safe, adhering to health, safety, and luxury standards
- Uphold presentation standards that always reflect a Forbes Five-Star and LQA environment
- Support the butlers with any front of house or back of house duties as deemed necessary.
Guest Experience
- Maintain a warm, professional, and discreet presence within the changing areas, delivering service in line with Forbes and LQA standards
- Anticipate guest needs with an intuitive and proactive approach, supporting Spa Butlers in delivering a seamless, personalised experience
- Recognise returning members and guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and always acknowledged
- Assist guests with amenities, directions, and general queries in a calm and confident manner
- Always ensure guest comfort, maintaining the highest levels of privacy, respect, and discretion
- Create a tranquil, welcoming environment that enhances the overall spa journey

Health and Safety
- Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified.
- Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures.
- Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises, by strict adherence to existing laws, statues and applicable ordinances, and by anticipating possible and probable hazards and conditions and either correcting them or pre-planning a defence against them.
- Stimulate and encourage a general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the department.
