The Product Marketing Manager, will own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for two of Assent’s most strategic solution areas.
This role is responsible for defining how Assent competes and wins in markets shaped by increasing regulatory pressure, supply chain risk, and global trade complexity.
In addition, this role will own the coordination and operationalization of Assent’s win-loss program, leveraging AI-powered insights and market intelligence to ensure feedback directly informs product strategy, positioning, and revenue execution.
This is a strategic and execution-focused role. You are expected to translate complex regulatory concepts into clear market narratives while driving cross-functional alignment that impacts pipeline and win-rate performance.
What You’ll Do
Solution Positioning & Messaging Ownership
Own and evolve positioning and messaging for Responsible Sourcing and Trade Compliance solutions
Translate complex regulatory requirements (e.g., forced labor, due diligence, import/export controls) into clear, differentiated value propositions
Develop persona-specific messaging aligned to compliance, supply chain, procurement, and executive stakeholders
Ensure consistency of solution narratives across all customer-facing and revenue-facing materials
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
Lead go-to-market planning for new capabilities, regulatory updates, and solution expansions
Partner with Product Management to align roadmap priorities with market needs and competitive pressures
Collaborate with Demand Generation and Content teams to activate messaging across campaigns and channels
Support strategic deals where positioning clarity is critical to advancing or closing opportunities
AI Operational Excellence
Operationalize AI as a core capability across product marketing workflows, insights generation, and go-to-market execution
Own and optimize the use of AI-powered tools across win-loss analysis, competitive intelligence, and market research to increase speed, depth, and accuracy of insights
Identify opportunities to embed AI into messaging development, persona research, and content creation to improve scalability and consistency
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure AI-driven insights are translated into actionable strategies that influence product direction, positioning, and revenue execution
Sales Enablement & Revenue Support
Develop and maintain core enablement assets including pitch decks, battlecards, talk tracks, and demo narratives
Equip Sales, BDRs, and Customer Success teams with clear articulation of solution value and differentiation
Deliver training and enablement sessions to improve field readiness and confidence
Continuously refine materials based on deal feedback and competitive dynamics
Win-Loss Program Ownership
Own the structure, coordination, and continuous improvement of Assent’s win-loss program
Manage Assent’s AI-powered win-loss tools and vendor relationships
Conduct and synthesize win/loss interviews to identify buying drivers, competitive patterns, and deal dynamics
Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing
Establish reporting frameworks and regularly deliver insights to leadership
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor regulatory shifts, market trends, and competitive positioning in responsible sourcing and trade compliance
Manage Assent’s AI-powered competitive tools and vendor relationships
Develop competitive intelligence assets to support sales strategy and positioning refinement
Act as the internal subject matter expert for your solution areas
Contribute to category narrative development and thought leadership initiatives
