Essential Functions
-Create precise parts and models using various machines and tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
-Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
-Select the appropriate materials and tools required to complete the job.
-Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
-Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop new products.
-Troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
-Train and mentor junior machinists.

Experience
Experience as a machinist or modelmaker 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in the use of various machines and tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
