Job Summary
Summary:
Responsible for joining metal parts together to create products or structures using a variety of welding techniques.

Essential Functions:
-Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding plans to determine the appropriate welding technique and materials needed.
-Setting up welding equipment and ensuring it is in proper working order.
-Welding and fusing metal parts together using a variety of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
-Inspecting and testing welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
-Maintaining and repairing welding equipment as needed.
-Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing welding tasks.
-Communicating with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure welding projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
