Job Description Summary:
What Youâll Do for Us
Understand the blow molding âSequence of Operationâ.
Operate all the equipment in the blow mold area.Â
Perform all CIP and housekeeping duties.Â
Perform all qualitychecks,PMand maintenance activities.Â
Safelyoperatea forklift to load Tipper, retrieve chemicals, and move materials.Â
Proficiencyin understanding,monitoringand acknowledging machine malfunction alarms and ability toefficiently and effectively manage solutions.Â
Ability to access machine reports, alarmlogsand system monitoring pagers from machine control panels.Â
Properly set up machine for different packages, bottle types, resins,linesand suppliersÂ
Assistmaintenance technicians inthe completionof corrective and preventative actions.Â
Maintainaccuraterecords and logs asrequired.Â
Work directly with cross-departmental personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum productionefficiency.
Assistwith audits and overhauls of all equipment.Â
Key person forestablishingnew processes and writing of SOP,SPLand other documentsÂ
Comply withall standard safety rules,practicesand policies.Â
Assistwith setting up new bottles, packages, vendors, resins, lines, etc.Â
Primary trainer for new employeesÂ
Critical communication hub between Blow Mold Techs, between shifts,managementand other departments.Â
Work very closely withBlowMold Manager todeterminedaily and long-term goals and priorities that need to be completed.Â
Qualifications & Requirements
High School diploma or GEDÂ Â
2-4 yearsâ experience in manufacturingorblow mold
Forklift and Hi-Lift certified or ability to become certified in a reasonabletime frame.Â
Read,writeandcomprehendEnglish.Â
Meet all basic plant and employment criteria, to include good attendance.Â
Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 pounds.Â
Standing and walking for continuous periods, including 8/10/12 hour shift orrequirednecessary hours.Â
Ability to work flexible shifts to meet production demands, to include working some time on weekends.Â
Ability to work ina teamenvironment.Â
Work is performed in high-speed, manufacturing and warehouse environmentÂ
Work requires exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, working around moving equipment, tanks, heights, wet conditions, fumes, vibrations, dust,etcâŚÂ
