The Role
At Baxter, our mission is simple but powerful: to save and sustain lives. As a Sales Specialist, Infusion Therapy & Platforms, you wonât just sell productsâyouâll help hospitals deliver better care to patients every day.
In this highly visible role, youâll partner with clinicians, nursing teams, pharmacy professionals, and procurement leaders across major hospitals in your territory. By building strong, trusted relationships, youâll become a valued advisorâbringing innovative infusion solutions that support safer, more efficient, and more effective patient care.
Youâll take ownership of driving both sales growth and customer education across our Infusion Therapy and Platforms portfolio managing the QLD and NT territories, including advanced products, services, and equipment. From identifying new opportunities to strengthening existing partnerships, your work will directly influence revenue growth while improving clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Identify incremental business opportunities and develop relevant strategies
Establish relationships and network with all levels of clinical and management staff, offering excellent service, back-up, and product knowledge
Collaborate in territory management alongside the Regional Sales Manager, Marketing team, and Corporate Accounts teams
Provide market information and data to develop a sound understanding of the marketplace
Coordinate and provide education and ongoing training throughout trials and implementations of Baxter Products
Continue ongoing product support starting from implementation and following the complete product life cycle
Ensure Baxter product information material provided to customers has been approved by Marketing and/or Medical Affairs.
Key Requirements
Tertiary degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Nursing, Medical Science or related fields
Proven Sales/Account Management within the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical sector
Ability to operate effectively within a high-achieving group
Strong relationship-building skills
Effective negotiation skills with the ability to influence collaborators and decision-makers at all levels
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to express technical and conceptual information clearly
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results
Ability to work autonomously, with a determination to succeed
Highly customer-focused with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service
Willingness to adapt working hours and travel to other states as needed
Valid QLD Driverâs License.
