As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be a vital member of the Platform Engineering Team, responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and operational integrity of our advertising software. Your role is crucial in supporting the platform's mission to deliver efficient and secure systems. You will contribute to key technical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the smooth operation of our platform.
4+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure management, or a similar role, with a history of successful project contributions and system enhancements.
Professional experience building APIs and writing scripts, and contributing meaningfully to shared codebases; not limited to configuration and deployment work.
Strong technical expertise in cloud services, networking, and/or database management.
Solid understanding of security protocols and operational best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements, including ISO, SOC, or other relevant certifications.
Preferred: Experience with Elasticsearch and SQL, particularly for operational reporting and data visibility.
Preferred: Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, LLM integrations, or cross-functional AI enablement initiatives.
Technical Expertise: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, networking, and database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard our systems against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and smooth software deployments.
Contribute to the design and implementation of system architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Debug and resolve complex technical issues, providing hands-on support for environment setup and system optimization.
Develop and maintain tools and processes, including active codebase contributions, to enhance system performance and reliability.
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, integrate, and operationalize AI tooling across the organization.
Help establish best practices and infrastructure patterns that support AI adoption at scale.
Work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operational support for new features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent and reproducible development environments.
Participate in incident response efforts, helping to minimize downtime and ensure quick recovery from system disruptions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and configurations to ensure accessibility and knowledge sharing within the team.
Perform regular audits and updates to ensure adherence to industry standards, such as ISO or SOC compliance.
Actively seek opportunities to innovate and improve the efficiency and security of our platform.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance our infrastructure and practices.

Compensation for this position is $120,000 annually with the potential to earn an additional 12% of base salary.
In addition, you’ll receive health/dental/vision insurance, and other benefits like a professional development budget, office food, and social events.
This role is open to remote candidates located within the United States, with a preference for those in the EST or CST time zones. There is also an option to work from our headquarters in Gainesville, FL.
