OddBytes is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team as a key partner across the business. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this is a high-impact generalist role advising on a broad range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, product development, employment, privacy, and emerging technology issues.
The position will draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including SaaS, licensing, partnership, and vendor contracts, while providing guidance to product and engineering teams on data usage, platform features, and regulatory considerations. The role also supports advertising compliance, intellectual property matters, and corporate governance as the company continues to expand its product portfolio.
As part of a small legal team, the attorney will play a central role in building legal processes and infrastructure, including developing templates, playbooks, and systems that enable the business to move quickly while managing risk. The role requires the ability to operate across a wide range of issues, translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance, and support teams working in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
The ideal candidate brings experience in technology companies, with strength in commercial contracting and product counseling. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, working cross-functionally, and helping teams innovate responsibly while maintaining sound legal judgment.
