The Pre Analytics Manager willbe responsible forall employment related activitiesto include recruitment and performance evaluations.This role willmonitorbudgets, fiscalperformance,and quality assurance forpre-analyticareas of the laboratory.
A caregiver in this position works8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage department personnel and operations which include staffing, training, workflowanalysis,and performance management.
Monitor quality and financialperformance;justifyexpense and revenue within departments.
Prepare annual operating and capital budgets.
Ensure compliance with government health regulations, CAP guidelines, qualitymanagementprogramrequirements,and customer service standards.
Develop andmaintainperformance improvement;recommendenhancement and cost saving strategies.
Ensure operational problems areresolved,and remedial actions are taken whenever necessary.
Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality,procedure,and policy application.
Maintain instruments and equipmentin accordance withmanufacturer’s specifications.
Develop,monitorandimplementprograms to enhance customer service, developskillsand improve scope of service.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of clinical laboratory management or supervisory experience
5 years of laboratory experience
ORAssociate’s Degree, 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience, and 5 years of relative experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
MLT or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) ASCP eligible
Phlebotomy management or supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move and travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
