Intel's Finance Organization ensures high-quality accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance globally. We partner across the organization to deliver accurate GAAP-compliant accounting and maintain strong internal controls.
This role supports accounting, reporting, and project execution for retirement-related programs. You'll handle monthly/quarterly close activities, year-end pension accounting, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, roll forwards, and supporting schedules for pension programs
⢠Support quarterly pension activities including balance reviews, remeasurement support, and recurring analyses
⢠Execute monthly/quarterly close activities and prepare period-end workpapers
⢠Support year-end pension accounting including disclosures and assumption-based deliverables
⢠Support statutory reporting, proxy deliverables, and audit requirements for pension plans
⢠Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and support files for audit requests and regulatory filings
⢠Coordinate with external auditors, actuaries, and plan service providers
⢠Assist with financial statement preparation, footnote disclosures, and census validation
⢠Support 401k/SERPLUS model updates and BNYM-related reconciliations
⢠Execute SOX control activities including reconciliations, review procedures, and documentation
⢠Validate model outputs, reconcile supporting data, and investigate variances
⢠Maintain desktop procedures and audit-ready documentation
⢠Support Israel Pension Centralization and model simplification projects
⢠Assist with transition activities, process redesign, and standardization efforts
⢠Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls
⢠Contribute to finance transformation initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
⢠Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
ā¢Minimum 3+ years of corporate accounting experience with month-end/quarter-end close
⢠Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
⢠Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
⢠Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
⢠Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢Experience with employee benefits or pension accounting
⢠Knowledge of SOX controls and audit processes
⢠SAP S/4HANA or ECC experience
⢠Professional accounting qualification (MIA, ACCA, CPA) or in progress
⢠Experience with process improvement initiatives
